According to The Orange Country Register Disneyland will be ending the popular Jedi Training Academy show in Tomorrowland. Following a 12 year run the Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple will have it’s last performance on November 3rd of this year, ahead of the Summer 2019 opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Disneyland Officials have not confirmed if the popular show will reappear in the 14-acre Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge land at Disneyland Park. Disneyland officials had the following to say, “at the Disneyland Resort, we continually refine and adjust our creative entertainment offerings while still preserving the guest experience.”
Disneyland Cast Members were only recently informed of the closure, “My heart is breaking that the show is leaving, but I have hope that a new show will come when the new Star Wars land opens,” said Jedi trainer Natalie Atkins.
Moving the show would make sense as Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is going to be highly themed and immersive, focusing on letting guests create their own Star Wars story.
