For a few weeks, before the world turned upside down in March of 2020, Disneyland guests could enjoy a new parade at Disneyland Park entitled “Magic Happens.” It was a smash hit right out of the gate and has recently won a Brass Ring Award for Best Atmosphere/Street Show Performance/Act from the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions.
Unfortunately for fans, Disneyland told the OC Register that “nothing to share at this time on the Magic Happens parade.” While this may appear to be bad news for Disneyland parkgoers, the parade isn’t likely to be gone forever, and will simply return at a later date.
It’s likely that “Magic Happens” we re-debut after the Main Street Electrical Parade glows back to the parade route next year, as Disney spent a pretty penny on the parade’s soundtrack, floats, and costumes and won’t want their investment to go unused for very long.
