With a new CircleVision film coming to China, an updated film at Canada’s pavilion and the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Sing-Along that will debut in France, Epcot seems to be on the verge of a new era, as it continues to present its unique, Disney view of our world and its people.
Today, we learned The Land pavilion will also be part of Epcot’s transformation with the announcement of “Awesome Planet,” which DisneyParks Blog describes as “an on-screen exploration of the realm we call home, (as it) showcases the spectacular beauty, diversity and dynamic story of our earth with all the grandeur guests have come to expect.”
Promising amazing nature photography, outer-space sequences by Industrial Light & Magic – the masterminds behind the cinematic foundations of the ‘Star Wars’ films- and state-of-the-art special effects to immerse its audience, ‘Awesome Planet” should entice theatergoers with its environmental theme, while delivering the excellence in film-making we have come to expect from Disney.
