According to Alicia Stella of Theme Park Stop Star Wars: Battle Escape will be, from entrance to exit, 28 minutes long, although it seems like the actual ride portion of the attraction will be 4-and-a-half minutes long.
As part of the attraction guests will board a transport shuttle that will escort riders into the stars above the Black Spire Outpost on the backwater planet of Batuu in the Outer Rim Territories, where Galaxy’s Edge is set, from there the guests transports will be abducted by the First Order and forced to dock on one of their Star Destroyers. From their guests will make their escape from the clutches of Kylo Ren and The First Order.
Rise of the Resistance features a reported five ride system types, 18 ride show areas, and many special effects — including laser beams fired by life-size AT-ATs and 305 state-of-the-art animatronic figures and droids, with upwards of 100 of those figures taking on the role of Stormtroopers in hot pursuit.
