Disney announced today that the much-anticipated Disney Skyliner gondolas will officially start transporting Walt Disney World guests on September 29!
Disney World’s newest transportation system connects Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to four resort hotels: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and the World’s newest resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, scheduled to open this December.
As DisneyParks Blog previously previewed, some of the gondolas feature graphics of beloved Disney characters, attractions and films, including Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Chip & Dale. Today, it was announced that other Disney stories depicted on the cabins are:
- “Coco”
- Goofy, Pete, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow
- “Finding Dory”
- Haunted Mansion
- “Monsters, Inc.”
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- “Ratatouille”
So be ready to take to the skies for a new way to travel and some sure-to-be spectacular views at Disney World this fall!
