Set to launch at D23, Disney Backstage Collection will be available to order starting in September. Included each month in the subscription box will be a retro keepsake canister containing a limited-release t-shirt, pin, story card and a mystery storytelling detail. Subscribers will receive rare artwork from Disney films and theme parks, and gain valuable insights into Disney heritage and culture through stories shared by animators and archivists. Series One in the Disney Backstage Collection will feature the Alice Comedies and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, throwing back to the very beginnings of Disney Brothers Studios.
Pricing for the subscription box service Disney Backstage Collection is as follows:
- Pre-paid 3 boxes: $39.99 per box per month for 3 months
- Pre-paid 6 boxes: $37.99 per box per month for 6 months
- Pre-paid 12 boxes: $34.99 per box per month for 12 months
