This Sunday, September 29, look to the skies to see Walt Disney World’s newest transportation system! To commemorate the upcoming opening of the Disney Skyliner, Disney executives and Cast Members gathered at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort for a dedication ceremony featuring Disney characters, fireworks and more.
“The most magical flight on Earth” connects Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to four Disney resort hotels: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and the highly-anticipated Disney’s Riviera Resort, a Disney Vacation Club property set to open on December 16, 2019. Flying along treetops and above waterways, Disney Skyliner floats Guests through the air aboard a system of approximately 300 gondolas, half of which are wrapped in colorful Disney scenes depicting beloved characters, films, and theme park attractions. Guests will be treated to never-before-seen views of Walt Disney World, as well as spectacular new looks at classic Park icons such as Hollywood Tower Hotel and Spaceship Earth.
