Disney announced today that both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will reopen to Guests on July 1, 2020, after being closed for the global pandemic. Guests will book their tickets through a new online reservation system, and the Parks will be limited to 15,000 Guests each day. The sale of tickets for Tokyo Disneyland Resort will begin on June 25.
Guests with Annual Passports will participate in a lottery process, through which Disney will allocate a portion of the Park reservations during the times when Annual Passports cannot traditionally be used for Park admission.
More information on the new Guest reservation system for Tokyo Disneyland Resort, as well as the safety and hygiene protocols that will be adopted for its reopening, will be provided by Disney soon.
Further updates on the grand opening for Toykyo Disneyland’s Beauty and the Beast area are not expected until after the Tokyo Parks have reopened.
