Guests at Walt Disney World are asked to wear masks and maintain social distancing while exploring the Parks. Of course, Guests may remove their masks while eating or drinking, but today Disney posted an official update to their mask policy on the Walt Disney World website, explaining that Guests who are eating or drinking have to remain in one place, safely distanced from other Guests:
“You may remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking, but you should be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing.”
This clarification serves as a reminder that walking along in the Parks without a mask while eating or drinking does not follow safety protocols and is currently prohibited.
