A full week ahead of schedule, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover will now reopen for Guests at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World on either April 24 or 25. In an Instagram post today, Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle announced that the much-beloved and much-missed attraction will once again be boarding Guests beginning this weekend.
TTA PeopleMover closed in March of 2020 for reasons unrelated to the pandemic, and had yet to reopen. Previous reports had named May 1 as the date the classic Tomorrowland ride would resume operations.
