According to the OC Register “it’s a small world” is expected to reopen at Disneyland Park next week with its beloved holiday overlay, just in time for the Christmas crowds.
Disneyland officials say that teams have been working 24/7 to reopen the attraction following a flood when filling the attraction’s flume that fully inundated a below-ground mechanical room with water.
Over twenty departments and 75 people have been working to get the attraction ready for guests to enjoy again. What should have taken months has been accomplished in a matter of weeks.
“It literally takes a village and we’ve had to talk to almost everyone in that village in such a short amount of time,” ride systems manager Jason Tomlin said. “That’s the exclamation mark on all of this: The scale of what we’ve done in such a short amount of time that’s involved so many people.”
Gray is a lifelong Disney fan! From Disney+ to the parks, he loves it all. His favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast, and his favorite attraction is The Haunted Mansion.
So excited to hear. I’m so happy
