This weekend Cast Members at the Disneyland Resort are celebrating one year of post-COVID-19 park operations.
In the video above, shared by Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock on Instagram, you can follow Disneyland and the city of Anaheim’s journey from March of 2020 through to today.
Mr. Potrock had this to say on Instagram:
“One year ago today, we reopened Disneyland after a 412-day closure. Since then, our momentum has continued to build as we’ve brought back almost all our guest-favorite offerings…and we’re just getting started. Thanks to our amazing Cast Members, the Happiest Place on Earth just keeps getting happier”
Ken Potrock, Disneyland Resort President
In the past year, Disneyland has reintroduced fireworks spectaculars, nighttime parades, fountain extravaganzas, and even opened a whole new land at Disney California Adventure, Avengers Campus. Looking forward to next month, the Resort will premiere the last major piece of nighttime entertainment with the reintroduction of Fantasmic! at Disneyland Park.
Gray is a lifelong Disney fan! From Disney+ to the parks, he loves it all. His favorite Disney movie is Beauty and the Beast, and his favorite attraction is The Haunted Mansion.
It will be a total blast
So happy it’s open and back to normal.
