When walking down Main Street, U.S.A this afternoon I noticed that the flag in Town Square had been lowered to half mast, along with the flag inside the entrance to Disney California Adventure and outside Sarge’s Surplus Hut in Carsland.
The flags were lowered this afternoon in honor of the late monarch of the United Kingdom, Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away earlier today.
Queen Elizabeth’s reign began 70 years ago, making her time on the throne longer than the entirely to Disney Theme Park history. It is unknown whether the flags will be half staff tomorrow.
What a beautiful legacy she left.
