Disney recently purchased 230+ acres for roughly $25,531 or $6 million dollars across from their Disney’s Oak Trail, Palm and Magnolia Golf Courses and near Disney’s new Flamingo Crossing Shopping Mall development which will be anchored by a Target.
This is according to the Orlando Business Journal.
It appears that Disney went through Winter Garden-based Lake Reedy LLC when buying the land.
Disney has not stated what they intend to do with the new land, but it’s suspected that it will be used to prevent outside business from gaining a foothold near Walt Disney World Resort property.
