The Walt Disney World Railroad will reach the “End of Line” for a while to allow for the construction of the upcoming TRON Rollercoaster beginning on December 3rd.
While the railroad is closed, one of the trains will be parked at the Main Street U.S.A. station for visitors to get an up-close look at the railroad and capture some rare photos. Guests can expect the railroad to be offline well into 2019 as construction ramps up in Tomorrowland. The Tomorrowland Speedway is also expected to close sometime next year, as the track is adjusted to make room for the new coaster. The Speedway is expected to reopen in the summer of 2019.
