Disney has just announced that they are pushing back the inaugural sailing of the newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Wish, has been pushed back from early 2022 to "Summer 2022" as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that has caused delays at the Meyer-Werft shipyard in Germany where the ship is being built.
Disney has yet to announce when booking for the Disney Wish will begin, but we imagine that it will be sometime during 2021 as the cruise line industry is in a holding pattern due to the pandemic.
