Correction: an earlier version of this story incorrectly stated the fire occurred inside Cinderella’s Royal Table, that was incorrect.
According to a post on Annual Passholders – Walt Disney World Resort Facebook group, emergency vehicles were seen rolling down Main Street, U.S.A., reportedly headed to a fire deeper into the park towards Liberty Square.
Disney issued the following statement:
“There was a small fire in Magic Kingdom. The fire was quickly extinguished by fire extinguishers. No one was hurt.”
According to our sources, the fire occurred in a mulch area near Cinderella Castle, not in Cinderella’s Royal Table.
