Disney’s latest DVC resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, will begin to accept reservations from the general public, i.e. non-DVC guests, later this month. This is possible because the resort has yet to sell all of its membership interests at this time.
DVC members will however have to wait a bit longer to book. The exact timing should be announced as we get closer to the resort’s fall opening. The reason for this has to do with the legal intricacies of timeshare sales in the state of Florida. DVC members can, however rest assured that a dedicated block of rooms will be available only to members.
“When it opens its doors, Disney’s Riviera Resort will offer all the grandeur of Europe combined with the magic of Disney. The new Resort will be conveniently located in the heart of Walt Disney World Resort, and feature unique access to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, via the new Disney Skyliner,”
