One of the most exciting stops in the galaxy at Star Wars Celebration Chicago is definitely the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge booth, where one of the most highly-anticipated Disney ride vehicles will make its debut appearance!
Guests to the Galaxy’s Edge booth will get a glimpse of the eight-passenger vehicle that will soon carry them through the long-awaited Rise of the Resistance attraction coming to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Led by an Astromech droid and with a safety warning in the Aurebesh language of Star Wars, the ride vehicle is a great photo opportunity for guests all-too-ready to climb aboard Rise of Resistance at the Disney Parks!
The Galaxy’s Edge booth has many other out-of-this-world photo spots, including the chance to stand in front of a Millennium Falcon backdrop!
Visitors to the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge booth will also get a sneak peak at some of the merchandise that will be available at Galaxy’s Edge in the Disney Parks. Here guests can see Resistance badges, First Order items, Star Wars apparel, and of course, the soon to be highly-coveted Star Wars’ collectible pins!
The Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Booth also provides the opportunity for guests to be a part of Disney Parks’ Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! Guests at Celebration Chicago can share their own Star Wars’ stories by recording a video which will then be used inside a Galaxy’s Edge installation.
Throughout Celebration Chicago, the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge booth will feature guest appearances by Disney Imagineers, as well as merchandise demonstrations and special events. And for all of the visitors to Celebration Chicago who are anxiously counting down the minutes until Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at the Disney Parks, the booth is ready to help them plan their trips, with an area equipped with tablets for guests to make their vacation plans to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland or Walt Disney World!
