Earlier this year, Disney announced that Illuminations: Reflections of Earth will be ending its almost 20-year run at Epcot. In its most recent edition, Mickey Monitor, a publication for Annual Passholders, previewed the full line of merchandise being offered this summer commemorating the iconic Epcot nighttime fireworks spectacular.
Exclusively for Passholders, the raglan-style T-shirt features Figment, and a “Farewell 2019” wish to Illuminations: Reflections of Earth.
Other items saluting the beloved Epcot show include an adult T-Shirt also bidding Illuminations “Farewell,” a youth T-shirt depicting a whimsical rendition of Illuminations, an Illuminations’ cap and MagicBand, and two collectible pins featuring Mickey and Figment
Fans of Epcot’s original nighttime fireworks extravaganza have until September 30 to experience the show one last time before Disney debuts a limited-run show, ‘Epcot Forever’ on October 1, 2019, which DisneyParks Blog reports will star ‘special -effects kites’ and ‘never-before-seen elements’ in a ‘celebration of what Epcot has been and what Epcot is going to become.’
