Pop-tastic news…Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration has been extended through Labor Day, September 2, 2019, in the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort! Head over this summer while there’s still time to take selfies and celebrate 90 years of the one and only Mickey Mouse.*
Social media has been a buzz since the exhibit popped up this spring, with guests posting thousands of fabulous family photos, colorful portraits and super-sweet selfies. At this must-see experience, you can step inside nine different imaginatively themed rooms where multi-dimensional art and vibrant, visual displays salute Disney’s most recognizable icon. Tip: Look out for the 25 “hidden Minnies” throughout the exhibit!
Here are a few fan-favorite moments:
Step inside an 8-foot-tall balloon! The Mickey at Disneyland room illustrates how much Mickey means to the Disneyland Resort. The lovable mouse has appeared all over the parks throughout the years—from Mickey-shaped foods to colorful balloons.
In the Mickey Around The World room, travel with Mickey to different countries. These postcard-worthy scenes include China- and Mexico-themed backdrops.
Along the mirrored hallway to the Forever Mickey room, “reflect” on how much Mickey means to you and pose against a neon Mickey wall.
Get comfy on a larger-than-life polka dot bow sofa and celebrate Mickey’s sweet Minnie Mouse! You’ll be surrounded by oversized bows and jumbo hearts—a truly lovely setting for pics.
