To provide as many Guests as possible the opportunity to ride the wildly popular Rise of the Resistance, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will now offer Guests the chance to join a backup boarding group.
As seen above on the MY DISNEY EXPERIENCE app, after all boarding groups 1-120 have reached capacity for the day and been called, Guests will have the opportunity to join backup boarding groups if there is additional capacity for more riders to experience Rise of the Resistance. Of courses, capacity is always limited, and joining a boarding group does not guarantee entry to the attraction. But any extra chance to join the Resistance will certainly be welcomed by the thousands of Guests that visit Walt Disney World and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge this holiday season!
