Can you believe we’re less than two months away from the grand opening of “Drawn to Life,” the new collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and Disney, coming soon to Disney Springs? As the team preps for the world premiere on April 17, 2020, we’ll be sharing some behind-the-scenes videos on the Disney Parks Blog revealing more details about the story, new custom animation and acrobatic artistry that makes this first-of-its-kind show so special.
In this week’s video, you’ll see the enthusiastic reactions of the Cirque du Soleil artists as they see the very first glimpse of the theatre where they’ll be creating mesmerizing moments of acrobatic mastery for our guests after months of training. (Their faces are priceless!) You’ll also hear a little more from Michel Laprise, writer and show director for “Drawn to Life” as he takes you through his vision for the production as the team prepares to bring this amazing story and tribute to the art of Disney Animation to life, in Cirque du Soleil signature style.
