Thanks to a tweet by Twitter user @MagicAndWalnut, we now know that Disney will be conducting LIDAR scanning via helicopter at the Disneyland Resort which will reportedly be used to 3D map the parks.
These helicopters will fly as low as 500 feet over the resort.
This is similar to scanning that was conducted at Walt Disney World a number of weeks ago.
