Disney announced today that their stores located inside the hotels of the Disney Springs Resort Area will soon be closed permanently.
Once considered a “Disney Advantage” perk for guests staying at hotels such as The B Resort and the Holiday Inn Orlando, these small Disney retail stores sold souvenirs and park merchandise, along with Walt Disney World Park tickets. With the introduction of the new Disney Park Pass online reservation system, as well as the impact the COVID-19 global pandemic has had on travel, these leased retail spaces have seen a drastic reduction in customers.
The mini Disney Stores inside the Disney Springs Resort Area hotels will close their doors in the next few weeks.
