Guests visiting Disneyland Park tomorrow, May 11th, will find that Disney is testing their virtual queue system at Indiana Jones Adventure attraction in Adventureland. This is being done in an attempt to alleviate pinch points in Adventureland and in the attraction’s socially distanced queue.
Disneyland has been using the upstairs of the Jungle Cruise queue building as overflow queue space, because the Jungle Cruise attraction is closed receiving enhancements.
The virtual queue will be similar to that used for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’s signature attraction, Rise of the Resistance, in that guests will join the queue using the mobile app, although for this attraction guests will not be able to join the line until they are physically in the park.
Guests who are park hopping will be able to join the queue after entering Disneyland Park.
Disneyland anticipates using the virtual and physically queue intermediately throughout the day, so guests should frequently check the app.
