The Walt Disney World website updated its mask protocols today, allowing Guests in outdoor theaters to not wear masks. This change in the mask policy now distinguishes between indoor and outdoor theaters at Disney World, as until today masks were required at all theater venues.
The chart below appears on the Disney World website, and reflects this new update to their mask policy:
Currently, “Feathered Friends in Flight” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the only outdoor show at Walt Disney World, as others such as “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular” and “Fantasmic” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios have not returned since Disney World reopened.
Beginning tomorrow, Florida’s Orange County will no longer require masks anywhere, indoors or outdoors, but it seems that for now, Disney will keep their mask policy in place .
The best news yet. So glad to hear this
