Walt Disney Imagineering, the creative arm of the Walt Disney Company responsible for designing and building its theme parks, has officially announced plans to retheme the existing Toon Town area in Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris. The area, currently known as “Toon Plaza,” will undergo a dramatic transformation to become a Pixar-themed area, bringing the iconic animation studio’s characters to life in a dynamic and immersive way.

The concept art released as part of the announcement provides a glimpse into the creative vision for the new area. It showcases a variety of photo backdrops and character meet-and-greet locations, allowing guests to interact with their favorite Pixar characters. From the adventurous world of “Toy Story” to the heartwarming journey of “Up,” the newly reimagined area will feature a diverse selection of Pixar IPs.
