Early this morning, Disneyland Paris’ Main Street USA was taken over by striking Cast Members who processed down Main Street, through Town Sqaure, and past the Disneyland Hotel park entrance.

The Disneyland Paris Union UNSA called for a general Cast Member strike from 6 am to 9 am, as part of the ongoing fight for better pay and working conditions.
This strike comes amidst an ongoing struggle for increased pay and improved working conditions, and it’s not the first of its kind. Earlier this month, a performance of Disney Stars on Parade at Disneyland Paris was canceled at the last minute due to a Cast Member strike. Similarly, back in February, protests against unequal pay led to one performance of “Dream…and Shine Brighter” going on without any characters, and another performance was completely canceled.
