Tokyo, Japan – The Oriental Land Company has announced the largest expansion in Tokyo DisneySea’s history – an ambitious new port, or land, called Fantasy Springs. Slated to open on June 6, 2024, the new themed port will transport guests into the magical worlds of Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan.

Fantasy Springs will feature three immersive areas: Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest and Peter Pan’s Never Land. Each area will contain brand new attractions, restaurants and shops inspired by the classic Disney tales. Highlights include the new boat ride Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival, the flying adventure Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure, and Frozen Kingdom’s marquee attraction, Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey.
To manage crowd flow, Tokyo DisneySea will implement an innovative virtual queuing system. Guests can obtain free Standby Passes on the Tokyo Disney Resort app to access Fantasy Springs and its attractions at designated times. For extra convenience, Disney Premier Access can be purchased to enjoy expedited access to select Fantasy Springs rides.

“We are incredibly excited to bring these beloved Disney stories to life in stunning new environments,” said an Oriental Land Company spokesperson. “Fantasy Springs represents our commitment to creating magical new experiences for our Tokyo DisneySea guests.”
The crown jewel of the expansion will be the new Disney hotel, Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel. It promises to deliver luxury accommodations worthy of the Disney name and theme park.

Fantasy Springs is being hailed as Tokyo DisneySea’s biggest and boldest expansion project ever. When it opens next year, it is expected to become one of Tokyo DisneySea’s most popular destinations. Disney fans eager to explore the worlds of Frozen, Tangled and Peter Pan can mark their calendars for June 6, 2024.
