The incident occurred around 9:20 PM on Saturday evening. Guests say the doors on Monorail Yellow failed to open at the Transportation and Ticket Center and Polynesian Village Resort. Finally at The Grand Floridian Resort passengers were finally able to get help and exit the
Passengers can be seen in the video joking about their situation and banging on the doors, attempting to draw attention to their situation. At the end of the video, once they are rescued, guests can be heard cheering.
A Disney spokesperson told Monorail News that they “apologize for the inconvenience and are looking into the matter.”
