Disney has begun to remove select ImageWorks exhibits to replace them with character meet and greet locations. Construction walls have gone up around the ImageWorks exhibit where guests could use their arms to wave Figment around and create musical sounds.
This new home for Disney Characters is just temporary, most likely in anticipation of the eventual demolition of the Innovation building that houses the Character Spot.
The only characters that have been confirmed to be making the move are Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope, although it’s expected that Baymax and the emotions from Inside Out will also be meeting and greeting there.
