Disney is being sued by a construction worker after a ditch he was digging in 2016 at the Animal Kingdom collapsed in on him. According to The Orlando Sentinel, Robert Howard filed the lawsuit against Disney, as well as MLC Theming and Total Demolition Services, seeking more than $15,000 in damages.
Mr. Howard was not directly employed by Disney when he was laying the foundation for new cages at the popular theme park.
Disney responded with the following statement, “Nothing is more important to us than the safety of those who visit and work at our resort. We will respond to the allegations, as appropriate, in court.”
