Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night Returns to Disney’s Animal Kingdom on December 4

Reservations are now open for Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night, a progressive dining experience for the whole family that returns this holiday season to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Inspired by the many facets of African culture, this celebration honors both The Lion King and the majestic and endangered animals of the African continent through delicious food, interactive entertainment and live music.

Guests arriving to Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night will enjoy a welcome reception at the Harambe train station, where they will be treated to meat pies, Durban chips and dip, an array of meats and cheeses, and a glass of Harambellini, a special blend of a sparkling South African wine and passion fruit, orange and guava juices. For the kids, there will be cheese, fruit and chocolate caramel-dipped green apples called Tofaa.

Guest will then hop on-board the train to Rafiki’s Planet Watch. There they will have the chance to experience a virtual reality, 360-degree safari experience that is available exclusively to event Guests! Hosted by African lions, this virtual safari invites Guests to “Join Our Pride” and live among the inhabitants of Pride Rock. Here Guests can also meet Rafiki and Timon, and nibble on more delicious snacks, such as spiced crisp plantains, South African oat and coconut bars, and Sundowner Safari Mix. Adult beverages include the Chief’s Tandy, a Tusker beer blended with lemonade, and Wanjohi’s Dawa, a tropical blend of tequila, pineapple, mango and Ancho chile. Kids will love the seasonal fruit and Trail Mix Bites with granola, chocolate chips, raisins and honey.

Following their visit to Rafiki’s Planet Watch, Guests will take the the train back to their final stop: Harambe Market. Here they will enjoy an array of dinner and dessert options, served at ‘Stations’ representing each of the evening’s featured animals, with additional offerings around the courtyard as well.

“Big-Five”-themed Stations include The African Lion Station, The Cape Buffalo Station, The Rhinoceros Station, The African Elephant Station, and The Leopard Station, along with the Harambe Market Courtyard Station, and the Dessert Station. Traveling from Station to Station, Guests will experience an amazing selection of African cuisine, with plenty of kid-friendly options as well. Both African-inspired alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available, as well as an assortment of specialty cocktails and African beer and wine.

In addition to sampling new and exotic dishes, Guests will also learn about each of the ‘Big Five’ animals at each station. Children will be invited to choose their favorite ‘Big Five’ animal charm and can create their own bracelet or necklace. Harambe Market Guests will also enjoy African music, a dance party, and captivating storytelling throughout the evening during this special Animal Kingdom event.

Ticket prices for Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night are $125 +tax for adults, and $99+tax for children ages 3-9 (separate park admission is required). This Animal Kingdom, limited-time experience begins on December 4, 2019, and runs for select nights from 6:00-9:00 pm.
