“Frozen 2” has surpassed 1 billion dollars at the box office, four weeks after it had its domestic release.
Despite this, the movie fell to number two this weekend, beaten out by “Jumanji: The Next Level” that generated $60 million at the domestic box office and $113 million worldwide.
This is the third-ever Walt Disney Animated Studios film to surpass the $1 billion mark. The other two are are “Frozen,” which made $1.274 billion, and “Zootopia,” which made $1.023 billion.
