Disney representatives from Shanghai Disneyland joined leadership from both the Administrative Commission of Shanghai International Resort and Shanghai Shendi Group today for the installation of the final steel roof deck of a key attraction at the Park’s new Zootopia-themed land. Leaders from the three companies gathered at the building site to celebrate the major construction milestone, signing the deck and watching as it was set atop the attraction structure.
Zootopia is the eighth themed land at Shanghai Disneyland, and the first of its kind at any Disney Park. Combining the excellence of Disney storytelling with state-of-the-art technology, the new land promises to fully immerse Guests in the bustling, mammal-dwelling metropolis of Zootopia. The main attraction, whose structure received its roof deck today, features Judy and Nick, the movie’s main characters, who invite visitors to Zootopia on a wild adventure.
