Beginning in July, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will extend their operating hours for the summer.
Disney announced today that Magic Kingdom will open at 8:00 AM fron June 27 through June 30, an hour earlier than its current 9:00 AM opening, and maintain its current closing time of 9:00 pm. But starting on July 1, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM through July 10. Magic Kingdom will close at 10:00 PM for the remainder of the month.
EPCOT will be open an additional hour from July 18-31, extending its closing time to 11:00 PM. From July 4-31, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will remain open an extra hour, closing at 7:00 PM instead of the current time of 6:00 PM.
Also released today are the showtimes for both Magic Kingdom’s “Happily Ever After” and Epcot’s “Epcot Forever,” returning to Walt Disney World beginning on July 1. Magic Kingdom’s nighttime Castle spectacular will be performed each night at 9:15 PM, while the fireworks show at Epcot’s World Showcase Lagoon will begin at 10:00 pm. These times appear on the Disney Parks’ calendar through the month of July, with no times posted yet for August.
