Disneyland has announced the opening date for the new Adventureland Treehouse attraction. On November 10, 2023, guests will once again be able to climb into the treetops and explore this iconic Disneyland experience.
While paying tribute to the original 1962 Treehouse based on the movie Swiss Family Robinson, the new Adventureland Treehouse introduces a fresh storyline for a new generation. Throughout the multi-level treehouse, guests will discover rooms belonging to each family member that reflect their skills, talents, and interests.
The mother’s music den contains instruments like a harp, lute, and organ that she plays to fill the home with cheerful melodies. The twin brothers have filled their nature room with a diverse collection of plants and animals living in harmony. The daughter’s astronomer’s loft provides stellar views of the night sky, where she studies the stars and documents her celestial discoveries.
On the ground level is the father’s art studio, displaying his hand-drawn sketches and paintings of the family’s treetop oasis. Nearby is the iconic waterwheel, powered by a stream and pulley system the family engineered to operate their inventions and gadgets.
Filled with things that reflect their affinity for exploring the unknown and designing the imaginable, the new Adventureland Treehouse invites guests to climb the stone stairway into this family’s treetop abode and discover their way of life. Disneyland is excited to reopen this classic Adventureland experience with a fresh new story when the attraction debuts this November.
