SeaWorld Orlando Gets Ready for Christmas on November 6
The park’s holiday celebration brings back Miracles, ice skating and a lagoon full of Christmas trees, with new shows heading to San Diego and San Antonio.
Central Florida may be reluctant to provide Christmas weather, but SeaWorld Orlando is ready to supply the snow.
The park’s Christmas Celebration returns on select dates from November 6 through January 4, 2027, bringing holiday shows, millions of lights and snow flurries along the Waterfront. The event is included with regular park admission, although some dining experiences and activities carry an additional charge.
SeaWorld announced plans for all three of its parks, but Orlando’s lineup is largely built around returning entertainment. For guests trying to fit a little Christmas into a theme park day, there will be plenty to work into the schedule once they’ve had their fill of roller coasters.
Christmas returns to the lagoon
Miracles is among the returning presentations, pairing the park’s orcas with a holiday soundtrack centered on peace, friendship and reflection. SeaWorld says Annual Pass Members will have an exclusive presentation time offering an early opportunity to see it.
O Wondrous Night will also return with its retelling of the Nativity story, featuring more than 30 Christmas carols, life-size puppets and live animals. It joins Winter Wonderland on Ice, Clyde & Seamore’s Countdown to Christmas and Elmo’s Christmas Wish at Seaport Theater.
Out on the lagoon, the Sea of Trees will once again synchronize its lights to holiday music around a 70-foot centerpiece. Along the Waterfront, guests will find snow flurries, marching toy soldiers and ballerinas. The Holiday Train display and Mrs. Claus’ Magic Kitchen are also returning.
It’s the sort of lineup that gives guests reasons to slow down between attractions, whether that means stopping for a show or simply taking in the lights. The evening entertainment also includes Holiday Reflections: Fireworks Finale, though dates and times vary. Check the Christmas show schedule before planning an evening around a particular performance.
For younger guests, the Sesame Street Christmas Parade brings Elmo and friends into the festivities. Sesame Street characters will be dressed for the season, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer will greet guests in Rudolph’s Christmas Town.
A little more Christmas between shows
Guests who would rather get on the ice themselves can do so at Bayside Stadium, where public skating alongside the lagoon will be offered for an additional fee. SeaFire Grill will show Christmas movies, with no dining purchase required.
Dinner with Santa is planned for Sea Harbor Pavilions on select dates, excluding opening weekend. The Sesame Street Christmas Breakfast will take place at SeaFire Grill. Both meals cost extra, so admission to the celebration alone won’t cover a seat at the table.
The seasonal calendar also includes Hanukkah menorah lightings and Kwanzaa kinara lightings in Sesame Street Land. A New Year’s Eve celebration brings fireworks and entertainment on December 31, followed by a Three Kings Celebration in early January.

New shows beyond Orlando
While Orlando is welcoming back familiar productions, SeaWorld’s other parks have several additions on the way.
San Diego’s celebration runs November 13 through January 3. Baby Shark’s Christmas Adventure will take families on an interactive musical trip to the North Pole, while a reimagined Dolphin Island Christmas adds music and costumes inspired by Hawaii and the Pacific Islands.
Mrs. Claus and her elves will lead the new Rock the Holiday Christmas Parade, and North Pole Storytime also joins the lineup. Returning offerings include holiday shows, reindeer encounters and nightly snowfall, with the 320-foot SkyTower Tree of Lights overlooking the park.
In San Antonio, Christmas Celebration runs on select dates from November 12 through January 4. The new A Joyful Splash will feature beluga whales and Pacific white-sided dolphins, joining Miracles and O Wondrous Night.
The Texas park is also bringing back the RhythMotion Christmas Parade and Merry Mariachis, adding the Melodic Mistletoes carolers, and decorating 13 holiday-themed areas. That includes a cowboy-boot Christmas tree, because there’s no reason Texas should sit out the holiday theming.
Christmas Celebration is included with regular admission in San Diego and San Antonio, too, with some experiences costing extra. For those of us planning closer to home, SeaWorld Orlando’s event page has the dates, admission options and upgrades ahead of the November 6 opening.
