Earlier this year Sleeping Beauty Castle closed and then covered in scrims to allow for reroofing, a new paint scheme, and other enhancements. Shortly thereafter, the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough also closed.
Now, it looks like we’re reaching the conclusion of our long national tragedy, and that the castle will soon be unveiled, because Disneyland recently updated the calendar for the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough to show that the walkthrough will be reopening on May 28th, we can only assume that the scrims will come down before then or shortly thereafter, just days ahead of the grand opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
